» 02/07/08 - Spacedesign proposes Space Shuttle 'Spaceline' through NASA Commercialization
Spacedesign Corporation proposes to shephard NASA technology, specifically, the Space Shuttle System, to continue Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) to the International Space Station (ISS).  Today (February 7th, 2008), the venerable Space Shuttle has proven itself once again launching the European Columbus Laboratory to the ISS.

Operations of the Shuttle would be more like an airline, coining the phrase 'Spaceline'.  The 'Spaceline' proposal creates a spaceport to launch and recover the Space Shuttle from the Texas Gulf Coast (Calhoun County, TX) and which returns capability for the U.S. Military to launch the Shuttle into polar orbit as originally envisioned.

» 09/14/06 - Thermal Engineers Achieve CAD Independence!
Spacedesign releases Space 3D TSS V12.01 which allows thermal engineers to do there job without learning a CAD package. Although Space 3D allows end users to access CAD data, the user isn't required to learn a CAD package. Go tell your boss you don't want to learn a CAD package to do thermal analysis. It's that simple!

» 08/04/06 - Spacedesign Releases Space 3D 2006 Beta 2 (TSS and SAT)
Spacedesign announces the release of our latest product suite of engineering tools, Space 3D 2006 Beta 2. Space 3D 2006 Beta 2 runs on Windows XP and Windows XP x64 allowing engineers to design and build higher fidelity spacecraft simulations. The new release features participating media enhancements, temporal ray-tracing, multiple picking using rubber-banding, greater flexibility for boolean operations (computational geometry) in the IGES to TSS translator and a myriad of other enhancements.

» 02/14/06 - Spacedesign Schedules TSS Intro and Advanced Training
Spacedesign announces Intro and Advanced Training. The Intro Class is February 21-22, 2006 and the Advanced Class is February 23-24, 2006. Classes are held at the Inn at the Ballpark Hotel in Downtown Houston. The advanced class focuses on the new enhancements for TSS V12.01, including importing and building computational geometry using Boolean Operations and Sinda/Fluint 4.1C functionality. Learn the power of TSS!!!

» 01/31/06 - Spacedesign goes 100% commercial
After 6 years of government service to NASA Johnson Space Center, Spacedesign completes contract to be a 100% commercial venture. Completely commercial companies in the space industry are few and far between. For this reason we are proud to say we have successfully commercialized our business in the space industry .

» 06/14/05 - Spacedesign releases TSS V11.01 Revision F (includes SAT)
TSS Version 11.01 Revision F is now available from our website (see downloads). PLEASE NOTE REVISION F WILL REQUIRE UPGRADING YOUR FLEXLM LICENSE MANAGER (i.e. lmgrd.exe and spaced.exe). This new release features Sinda/Fluint 4.1 C with spreadsheet capable symbol functionality, Linux support for command language applications only, Structural Analysis Tool (SAT) in a beta release, and FLEXnet Publisher Licensing for license borrowing and USB dongle support. This is in addition to over 40 bug fixes and other minor enhancements and adjustments.
