 Space 3D 2006 Downloads TSS V12.01 Rev D and SAT V12.01 (Updated July 2008) V12.01 Install Document for Windows XP (Updated August 2007) V12.01 Install Document for Windows Vista (Updated July 2008) V12.01 Upgrade from 11.01 Rev F Install Document. The installation Space3D_2006_Rev_D.exe includes both 32-bit and 64-bit applications and will only install 32-bit applications on Windows XP/Vista and 64-bit applications on Windows XP/Vista x64. The software requires updated Hummingbird Exceed and updated Intel Fortran; see below for a summary of requirements. The Install document contains a detailed list of the software required. NOTE: TSS V12.01 Revision D contains important updates for those users who are currently running older revisions of V12.01. These include changes in Animation, Geometry, Radk, Heatrate, ConCap, FECC, Mesh, Translators, XYPlot, and Sinda/Fluint v4.3C. TSS v12.01 Revision D contains many corrections and updates, including the following items: > Calculated triangle edge conductors > Polygon area calculations in FECC > Ray-tracing issue for paraboloid > Multiple issues relating to Boolean surfaces > Multiple issues relating to Mesh application > Sinda/Fluint output from Radk and Heatrate for models with more than 20,000 nodes > Geometry Node Probe volumes > Nested *WHILE loops > Calculated values for v11.01F ‘bool_cyl’ surfaces when loaded into v12.01 > Windows Vista OS install update > Licensing issues related to TSS_LICENSE_FORMAT, multiple core machines, Vista OS, and 64-bit machines > SF4.3C update When on a machine with TSS v12.01 already installed, running Space3D_2006_Rev_D.exe will check the date of the installation and automatically update you to the latest version (if necessary). This is a one-step process that will not require you to rename anything or move any files. **If the date of your installation matches the latest version, InstallShield will ask you whether you want to uninstall it. Click ‘Cancel’ to keep the current version. If you currently have TSS V11.01 installed and are upgrading to V12.01, make sure to specify a unique folder name for the V12.01 installation. Do not use the same folder as your current V11.01 installation. You can have both V11.01 and V12.01 installed and running on your machine at the same time, if desired. Hummingbird Exceed Requirements (Space 3D 2006) Using Space 3D 2006 on Windows XP/Vista x64 requires as a minimum Hummingbird Exceed and Exceed 3D 2006 (i.e. Exceed v11) and using Space 3D 2006 on Windows XP/Vista requires as a minimum Hummingbird Exceed and Exceed 3D v10. Sinda/Fluint Fortran Requirements (Space 3D 2006) Space 3D 2006 Sinda/Fluint requires Intel Fortran V9.1 Standard Edition or higher. Please refer to the detailed installation instructions (links above) for information on supporting software needed to run Sinda/Fluint. » TSS v12.11 (beta) (updated October, 2007) To use the Solid to Radiation Surface enhancement, you need to supplement your TSS v12.01 installation with the following v12.11 beta executables. It is recommended that you keep the v12.01 versions of Executive, ConCap and Mesh.
